SAIC Partners with Building Homes for Heroes (BHH)
SAIC is proud to partner with BHH for the 9th consecutive year to support military veterans and their families. We specifically raise housing funds for families in need.
Our first BHH veteran of 2022 U.S. Army Sergeant Alberto Montrond was killed in an explosion while deployed in Afghanistan. Later, his wife Christl passed away, leaving their 21-year-old daughter, Nazeraeh, to become the legal guardian of her three siblings. Funds collected will go to a home for Nazeraeh and her siblings in Land O Lakes, FL.
U.S. Air Force Technical Sergeant Rahmeka Hopkins bravely served her country for 15 years. Working in Special Operations, TSgt. Hopkins operated daily in life-changing situations in a fast-paced environment, causing underlying effects on her health. She suffers from severe nerve damage and malignant arthritis all over her body, which has caused her to be confined to a wheelchair. The Hopkins family will receive a mortgage-free home that will be accessible to her needs as she fights cancer.
