SAIC's Horizon 2 Program provides direct support to the United States Space Forces (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) mission in pioneering, developing and delivering sustainable joint space warfighting capabilities to defend the nation and its allies. While supporting the SSC's portfolio such as Combat Power, Space Domain Awareness, Enterprise Battle Management and Command and Control, Survivable Satellite Communications, and Communication Networks, SAIC also manages the talent and resources to deliver government solutions via the Horizon 2 contract.
Client Overview
The customer base is primarily within the Program Executive Office for Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDA&CP). This is a diverse portfolio of 60+ space and ground based programs valued over $10B to develop, acquire, field, and sustain vital, cutting-edge military space capabilities for our nation’s warfighters, civil space, and allies.
SDA&CP develops national security deterrence capabilities to provide continued, sustainable use of space by countering threats and aggression and, when necessary, to prevail in a multi-domain conflict that extends to space. They also provide warfighters with capabilities to rapidly detect, warn, characterize, attribute, and predict both potential and real threats to national, allied, and commercial space systems.

Full-Spectrum Lifecycle Program Support
The Horizon 2 Program attracts top tier talent from the Government, aerospace industry and from many fields and backgrounds to deliver on our commitment to provide the Government the best possible information and solutions to enhance their decision making process that allows for timely delivery of high space capabilities to the warfighter. Digital Engineering Solutions
The Horizon 2 Program is developing an immersive Digital Engineering environment to enable the SSC to envision the systems of tomorrow and to prepare for their interoperability today. The program is leading in innovative integration efforts to synthesis cutting edge multi-level security infrastructures with best in breed digital engineering tools. The architecture developed by this pioneering team will be a flagship capability for the USSF and help the warfighter keep the edge on the competition.
