The Horizon Program provides direct support to the United States Space Forces (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) mission in pioneering, developing and delivering sustainable joint space warfighting capabilities to defend the nation, its allies and disrupt adversaries in the contested space domain.
SAIC’s Horizon Program manages the talent and resources required to deliver services and solutions to the Government via the Horizon contract. The Horizon program supports SSC’s portfolio across several of the commands mission areas such as Combat Power, Space Domain Awareness, Enterprise Battle Management and Command and Control, Survivable Satellite Communications, and the Communication Networks that connects those capabilities with the operators and users.
The customer base is primarily within the Program Executive Office for Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDA&CP). This is a diverse portfolio of more than 60 space and ground based programs valued over $10B to develop, acquire, field, and sustain vital, cutting-edge military space capabilities for our nation’s warfighters, civil space, and allies.
SDA&CP develops national security deterrence capabilities to provide continued, sustainable use of space by countering threats and aggression and, when necessary, to prevail in a multi-domain conflict that extends to space.
SDA&CP provides the warfighter with capabilities to rapidly detect, warn, characterize, attribute, and predict both potential and real threats to national, allied, and commercial space systems. SDA&CP delivers capabilities to provide perpetual and prolific Space Domain Awareness to enable decisive action
