Electrical Engineering Careers
SAIC hires electrical engineers that play a crucial role across many programs that support the United States Department of Defense (DOD), Intelligence Agencies, and Civilian Government Programs. Our electrical engineers have a deep understanding of electrical principles, circuits, and components. SAIC empowers and supports our electrical engineers to create innovative solutions to our nation's most complex problems.
Our team is looking for the following skills in our new team members:
- Printed circuit board design experience using tools such as Cadence, CAD PCB Designer, Altium, or Eagle
- Familiarity with embedded systems (microcontrollers, microprocessors, FPGAs, etc)
- Working knowledge of Industry Standards for design and safety (e.g. UL, IEC, IATA)
- Low voltage (24 VDC) to high voltage (300-400 VDC) systems
- Small (< 2 kWh) to Large (> 1000 kWh) systems
- Specify and integrate associated power conversion systems
