Description
The Lead Data Architect will support the following activities: plan, design, and implement new architecture to migrate current datasets into cloud to include access methods, time, allocation, validation, organization, protection, security, and documentation. The candidate will create Data Lake solution with analytical reporting capabilities that will integrate various datasets and provide the information to customers and applications. The candidate is expected to set data management principles, create models of data that enable the implementation of the intended architecture, create diagrams showing key data entities, and create an inventory of the data needed to implement the architecture vision.
The candidate should demonstrate expertise in understanding large, complex, and possibly undocumented or unrelated databases, data schema, reference data, joining conditions, relationships, to respond to data requests. Deep knowledge of data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) process, data management techniques, Data Lake, data analysis, design of complex queries, and data visualization activities are a must.
• Good understanding of data (from strategy, approach, design, development and implementation).
• Experience architecting Hybrid Multi cloud Data platform
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud native offerings
• Experience with 3rd party data offerings and integrate to them to hybrid multi cloud environment
• Experience with leading and manage a team
• Experience with ATO and supporting POaM
• Experience Conducting gap analysis of tools, common services and business processes
• Developing target state diagrams
• Providing architecture guidance
• Preparing concept of operations papers
