SAIC is currently seeking two (2) Military Event - Operations Planner to support the Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC) for the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AoR) located on Ford Island in Oahu, Hawaii.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate coordinates and manages exercise training events, Produces and manages event support and facility documentation, Coordinates and manages virtual collaboration and maintains relevant exercise support data on SharePoint.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Schedule In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings with all stakeholders
- Work with military, civilian and contractor personnel to identify, verify and track all event IT, COMMS, and System/Network requirements
- Work with and maintain appropriate OPSEC conditions at multiple levels
- Implement and manage access and badging process for each exercise/event.
- Develop and maintain event support and facility documentation/products to include event support plans, POAM slide decks, requirement charts to track event tech, app, and communication requirements; process and work-flow products
- Create and present the PWC Facility Brief for each event
- Compile and make available event daily agendas and schedules
- Communicate with and lead/facilitate meetings with USINDOPACOM leadership and Action Officers/Planners, Component Command exercise planners and Work Group Leads
- Create and manage exercise and facility SharePoint sites
- Work with the Event Support team to produce event IMKM brief
- Manage virtual collaboration sessions; S-VTC, Global Video Services (GVS), TEAMS, Adobe Connect and other apps
Qualifications
Required Education:
- BS degree with two (2) years of relevant experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge with communication system (Microsoft TEAMS or Adobe Connect).
- Experience establishing secret-video teleconference (VTC) meetings.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint or a similar large database system.
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills.
Required Clearance:
- Must have an active Secret security clearance.
Required Travel:
- 25% travel to the Indo-Pacific area.
