SAIC is seeking a Technical Program Manager to serve as the Navy Program Manager Representative (PMR Rep) on-site at the Prime Contractor facility in Denver, CO, in support of NSWC Crane and the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Hypersonic weapons system program.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this role, the candidate will work closely with a government PMR and a contractor PMR at the site to monitor program execution and participate in all Prime Contractor meetings as the weapons system program transitions from R&D to production activities. The Candidate will provide coordination and integration between the leadership and staff at the CPS Program Office, their counterparts at Prime Contractor sites, and other National Team sites.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Support for government oversight functions at the Prime Contractor site (primarily software development and integration activities).
  • Support to CPS functional branches.
  • Progress monitoring and reporting. Candidate will report directly to the CPS Major Program Manager (MPM), Deputy Major Program Manager (DMPM), and Technical Director (TD).

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in DoD acquisition systems engineering, program management, or portfolio management with an emphasis on technical oversight.
  • Weapon systems software development experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-organization coordination efforts and engage directly with senior DoD personnel and industry executives.
  • Experience with DoD acquisition contracts, schedules, budgeting, and working knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process.
  • Technical knowledge of Systems Engineering process, weapon and platform integration, baseline management, and production.
  • Must be able to work on-site at Prime contractor's facility in Denver, CO.
  • Must currently possess a Secret Security Clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.
  • Ability to travel approximately one week per quarter in the continental United States (CONUS).

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • M.S. in a technical field
  • Program Manager or oversight experience
  • Experience with parallel configuration baselines for multiple weapon system increments.
  • Experience with lifecycle management, weapon system supply chains, knowledge of production risks and processes.
  • DAU program management or systems engineering certifications. 

 


Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
