Operations Project Manager

                    Experience:  Must have a minimum of 10 years of related experience managing and leading teams

                    providing operational support to the Data Centers, Network Operations Center (NOC), and Disaster

                    Recovery (DR) team.  Duties:  Responsible for managing and overseeing the operational support

                    within the Data Centers, NOC, and DR team.  Manages and assigns tasks and deliverables. 

                    Demonstrates required technical skills as well as the ability to organize, direct, and coordinate the

                    planning and execution of all tasks and deliverables assigned.  Creates and establishes new standards

                     and procedures and translates high level work plans into detailed assignments for team members. 

Job Role Specific Requirements:

   Core responsibilities and duties; highlight day-to-day activities:

1. Collaborating with external development teams to validate solution architecture within agency cloud environment
2. Identifying opportunities for optimizing cloud consumption by the agency and providing strategic direction for addressing those opportunities
3. Supporting migration of on-premise workloads to cloud following agency governance and reference architectures
4. Identifying and communicating opportunities for improving agency security posture within cloud environments
5. Supporting strategic cloud initiatives, such as TIC 3.0, Zero Trust Architectures, and DevSecOps by providing architectural guidance and hands on implementation of approach
6. Reviewing and approving change requests for cloud-based workloads
7. Providing leadership to junior engineers to increase understanding of agency cloud environments

   Preferred skills and qualifications:

   Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or AWS Solutions Architect Associate 

Qualifications

Top 3 Qualifications, Skills, Experience or Certifications: 

1. Five (5) years’ experience deploying/configuring workloads within Microsoft Azure Commercial Cloud and/or AWS Commercial Cloud
2. Demonstrated understanding of compute, network, and storage principals
3. Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or AWS Solutions Architect Associate
