SAIC has a career opportunity for an experienced scientists, engineers, and analysts. We are actively staffing a newly awarded, 5 year contract based in Fort Meade, MD. This multi-year contract needs you to fill positions as highly skilled mathematicians, data scientists, engineers, collection managers and analysts. As a Forensic Analyst, you will conduct detailed digital forensics, host-based analysis, including imagining, digital media processing, and memory capture and data log analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Locate and identify digital evidence.
• Extract and carve files from collected evidence.
• Analyze intrusion techniques and tradecraft.
• Assist in root cause and attribution analysis.
• Identify, collect, and analyze relevant host-based artifacts.
• Maintain cyber hygiene of forensic media and analysis environment.
• Support chain of custody throughout incident lifecycle.
• Configure and utilize virtualized and/or forensic computer system environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph
• Degree and minimum years of relevant work experience as follows:
  • AA and 10 years of experience or,
  • BA/BS and 8 years of experience or,
  • MA/MS and 6 years of experience or,
  • PhD and 4 years of experience
• Two (2) years of demonstrated experience using at least two forensic tool suites similar to EnCase, Sleuthkit, FTK, X-WAYS, REKALL, or Axiom.
• Three (3) years of demonstrated experience working on Windows and Linux OS as a SA or in DevOps.
• Requires DoD 8570 compliance with CSSP Analyst baseline certification.
• Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I or Level II certification.
• Computing Environment (CE) certification.
• Requires Global Information Assurance Certification Forensic Analyst (GCFA) or Global Information Assurance Certification Forensic Examiner (GCFE).
