SAIC is looking for an Installation Technician to provide Test & Evaluation support of PEO-C4I and PMW 160 systems and associated communications infrastructures to include GCCS-M, Naval Integrated Tactical Environmental System (NITES) – Next Generation, DCGS-N, CANES and ADNS at a government testing lab.
Work will be performed on-site in San Diego, CA.
Specific Duties include:
- Conduct installation, modification, repair, operation, and removal of network C4I systems equipment on various network infrastructures in support of test event execution.
- Provide hardware assembly, setup, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and network connectivity support, as well as physical access for events
- Assist with onsite support and oversight, if required, for setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and network connectivity support as required by the hosting Government facility.
- Perform inspections and attenuation testing of ethernet and transport cabling located within the Government testing facility.
- Assist with the relocation of equipment including but not limited to, server racks, servers, storage, Ethernet and transport cabling, and workstation and network equipment.
Qualifications
Required Education, Certifications, Experience:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma and eight (8) years of experience
- Secret clearance required
