SAIC is seeking an IT Project Manager and Team Lead to support the Federal Lands Highway program at Western Federal Lands in Vancouver, WA. Successful candidates should exhibit leadership qualities and be experienced in managing a team of diverse IT Professionals, overseeing IT projects, providing status reports to leadership, and being the point of contact to interface with Government leaders and representatives at the site. This role shall provide onsite Customer Service Management and Project Management that oversees the day-to-day delivery of IT services and projects, project planning and implementation, and working with Government leaders to plan and implement the IT goals, deliverables, and objectives to support the IT contract.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage an IT staff, to include performing quarterly employee performance review meetings, providing monthly status reports to management, and meeting with Government leaders to plan and execute the IT program deliverables
  • Act as a Hiring Manager, including scheduling and performing employment interviews and making recommendation to management
  • Have sufficient knowledge and experience of IT operations, including Network, Service Desk, Database Administration, Web Design and other areas of IT in order to make strategic decisions and lead the team to success
  • Facilitate IT Customer Service Meetings and participate in other leadership meetings to communicate the IT goals and objectives of the organization based on client requirements
  • Experience with the Change Management process, including project planning, implementing, controlling and closure to meet and fulfill client needs and deliverables
  • Establish and refine the service delivery processes and to act as POC between the Government staff and the SAIC IT team, coordinate and communicate IT goals and objectives with stakeholders
  • Lead a diverse IT staff in managing the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, security vulnerability remediation, and security reporting
  • Participate in, and lead the effort for the planning, research, implementation and maintenance of new software and systems

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 8 years’ related experience

Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
