SAIC has an opening for a Principal SharePoint Solutions Engineer to work 100% remote from anywhere in the US. In this role, you will show proficiency in the designing and architecting of SharePoint environments with vision for the future. Lead and participate in new application development and evaluations. Research and stay current with emerging technologies and Microsoft tools/suite. Participate in ITO application planning meetings
Responsibilities:
- Migrating content between on premise farms and/or between on premise/SharePoint Online environments.
- Upgrading SharePoint versions
- Install and configure Azure DevOps agents for pipelines
- Service Account Password resets
- Renew and Install Web Site Certificates (plenty)
- Emergency On Call rotation
- Service Tickets related to operations
- CRs related to operations
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Proficient in development, support of automation, and troubleshooting in the following:
- SharePoint JSOM (JavaScript Object Model)
- SharePoint CSOM (Client-Side Object Model)
- SharePoint SSOM (Server-Side Object Model)
- SharePoint Add-in model, provider hosted
- Git version control
- Web APIs / REST Services
- PowerShell & PowerShell DSC
- C#/.NET Framework/.NET Core
- Active Directory
- Domain Name Servers (DNS)
- PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC)
- SQL Server & Quarries
- Azure DevOps Server
- Build agents
- Pipelines
- Windows IIS
- Web applications and app pools
- Bindings and SSL certificates
- Application Request Routing (ARR)
- Proficiency in the Infrastructure implementation of:
- Server Trust Certificate
- Reverse Proxy
- IIS web apps
- Build server (compiling ADO pipeline)
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience; Experience in Lieu of degree will be accepted
Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
