SAIC is looking for a Configuration Management Specialist in Crane, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This person will be responsible for product design changes and the effects of the overall system. Assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications. Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.

NOTE: This is a hybrid remote position that requires driving into the office in Crane, IN a minimum of 2 days per week.

JOB DUTIES

  • Develop, prepare and coordinate configuration management plans to implement CM support of systems engineering
  • Maintain a defined document identification and release process for systems engineering products
  • Working closely with the Configuration Control Board in managing the configuration control process and procedures and ultimate release of change documentation between the various change reviews and control bodies, change requestors, and other participants in the change review and control process
  • Providing configuration status accounting in support of change management activities
  • Participating in the planning, review, and report preparation of functional configuration audits and physical configuration audits

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must hold, at minimum, an Interim Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
  • 5 years’ experience in configuration management
  • Excellent written and oral communications.
  • Ability to work well with an experienced government team.

Target salary range: $65,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
