Description

SAIC is seeking experienced and security-cleared personnel to support the Air Force's Air Operations Center (AOC) Falconer Weapon System team, to find solutions for automation problems and develops corresponding scripts. This involves identifying test cases for automation, creating automation test plans, and configuring environments. Transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting quality assurance automation testing for enterprise legacy migration and COTS integration projects
  • Creating automation tests using Nodejs/Python scripts
  • Creating and maintaining testing scripts, standards, guidelines and playbooks for accessibility testing and development best-practices
  • Documenting bugs and improving overall system performance
  • Tracking & reporting repeat non-conformance features or functionality that require solutions for the assigned segments
  • Working in a product scrum team and attending meetings to help document any discussions, requirements needed follow-up, etc.
  • Prioritize and select test cases for automation from existing test case documentation
  • Create and obtain approvals for automation test plans
  • Configure Test Environments
  • Perform automation framework design and implementation
  • Create, enhance, run, and debug test cases
  • Manage changes and execute regression tests
  • Coordinate the Test and Development teams to solve issues
  • Interact with the client to solve problems and implement fixes
  • Creating defect tracking reports and communicating release status to stakeholders

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • 7+ years in software development, testing, deployment, and lifecycle maintenance of enterprise grade applications expected
  • NodeJS and/or Python experience is required
  • Experience integrating, testing, and evaluating RESTful APIs
  • 5+ years’ experience with Automation Scripting
  • Experience with Ansible (or similar) automation tools
  • Experience with front-end web application testing via Cypress/Selenium
  • Experience with Agile software development and SDLC practices
  • Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing and performance/stress testing
  • Experience with Jenkins (or similar) and continuous testing
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret or higher level clearance if required by the customer (i.e. Top Secret)

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Active US DoD Security Clearance granted within the last 5 years
  • Graduate-level degree in Engineering or a related technical or business field
  • Experience working in Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) and general understanding of CAOC processes and procedures in support of execution of the Air Tasking Order (ATO) and Airspace Control Order (ACO).
