Description
SAIC is seeking a Systems Administrator Tier 3 for the Joint Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program. This position will sit in Panama City, Florida.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work on deployable IT systems that communicate over satellite
- Apply security patches (Windows 10, 2012R2 and beyond and Red Hat Linux 7&8 for Enterprise) utilizing multiple technologies including SSCM/MECM, Ansible, scripts and manual procedures
- Must have the ability to effectively trouble shoot issues with Windows Active Directory, and enterprise services including MS Exchange, and SharePoint.
- Basic networking knowledge to include static routing with IPV4, DNS, DHCP
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies. VMware products including ESXi, VSphere is preferred
- Familiarity with HCI (Hyperconverged Infrastructures) hardware, and storage solutions
- Familiarity or the ability to learn basic usage of automation technologies specifically Ansible, and DSC (Desired State Configuration)
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity practices including using Tenable ACAS products (Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions) applying DISA STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guides) and using HBSS McAfee products
- Act as a systems SME (Subject Matter Expert) during FATs (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SOVATs (Shipboard Operation Verification and Test)
- The ability to travel up to 25% of the time, typically 2 to 4 week trips
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and zero (0) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Qualifications:
- CompTIA Security+ certification is required
- MS Windows and Active Directory experience
- Red Hat Linux for Enterprise experience is desired
Clearance:
Candidate must have the ability to obtain a full Secret clearance; Minimum of an Interim Secret clearance is required to start.
