Intelligence Analyst - Navy BMD SME

SAIC is looking for an experienced intelligence analyst to provide subject matter expertise, intelligence analysis, and training support in ballistic missile defense (BMD), focusing on the latest threats, and associated doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures, and the employment of related intelligence systems.  You will work with a small team of highly experienced experts to train US Navy Pacific Fleet ships, staffs, and associated units and agencies in BMD, and ensure that BMD courses, seminars, and war games incorporate the most recent intelligence information. 

•             Work site is Tactical Training Group Pacific in San Diego, CA.

•             Direct Travel may include temporary embarkation for on-site training support in US Pacific Fleet units for periods up to 2 weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (may be waived with extensive flag/warfare command staff experience plus instructor experience)
• Minimum 9 years of military intelligence experience and knowledge of intelligence and information warfare systems, to include US Navy shipboard systems
• Minimum 3 years of experience conducting all-source collection planning/management, intelligence analysis and fusion at a Theater Maritime Operations Center (Fleet MOC), Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC), or a National Intelligence Agency
• Experience with and understanding of ballistic missile threats (North Korea, Iran, Syria, China, Russia and India) and developing missile orders of battle for countries of interest 
• Experience with Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) concepts, systems, and doctine, to include development of comprehensive intelligence scenario products for BMD training 
• Experience as an instructor or training team member in the development of training scenarios (e.g., wargames or seminars), and translating intelligence and warfare training objectives into a comprehensive training scenario/ wargame
• TS/SCI required 

Additional (Preferred) Qualifications    

• Intelligence or information warfare experience supporting fleet staff, strike group staff, or warfare commander staff in the 7th and/or 5th Fleet areas of responsibility
