Description
SAIC is seeking a CAD/Design Engineer to support our NAVWAR customer in San Diego, CA.
Job Duties:
- Works closely with the design engineers and technicians to ensure projects are completed.
- Creates and modifies detailed drawings using standard computer aided design (CAD) digitizing techniques and skills from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering.
- Digitizes, edits, and revises engineering drawings of components, parts, circuits, structures and/or assemblies.
- Works with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, and drafting standards.
- May make engineering computations, mathematical calculations, determines scales, and prepares or revises specifications.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors or Technical Training in Information Technology, Electronics Information Systems (EIS), Electronics Technology, or Cybersecurity.
- Two (2) years experience in electronics systems support to include:

Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, and Data Analysis.

Use of AutoCAD.

Digital imaging techniques.

Planning and preparing graphic presentations of complex items.

DoD processes and procedures.

Clearance:
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
