SAIC is looking for a motivated Systems Administrator to assist our intelligence customer in Chantilly VA. The hired candidate will be working with a small, collaborative team providing web-based solutions to a diverse, remote population and be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating existing and future backend databases, web servers, and applications. Candidate should also be able to provide suggestions and expertise in leveraging technologies to improve the customer’s business and product goals. 

Position requires candidate to have and a current TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Position is located in Chantilly, VA.
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)

• Use Amazon Web Services to build and maintain web presence
• Maintain and troubleshoot web servers and workstations
• Provide assistance to end-users for troubleshooting and tech support
• Ensure compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) for multiple systems using Service Now (SNOW)
• Utilize Splunk and Tenable to monitor and respond to system vulnerabilities
• Maintain and oversee purchasing of software licenses
• Prepare reports that document general metrics, attempted attacks, and security breaches

Qualifications

Required Qualifications  

• DoDM 8570.2 IAT II or III (CompTIA Security+/Network+)
• Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; or experience in lieu of degree
• Experience maintaining web-servers and troubleshooting system issues
• Knowledge of basic system administration to include ports, firewalls, web applications, cloud infrastructure, PowerShell and Windows server environment
• Have a strong desire to learn and develop new skills

Desired Qualifications  

• Experience with Amazon Web Services 
• Experience with basic HTML
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 2016 or higher
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher
• Experience setting up and maintaining PKI functionality for web servers
• Experience with Service Now (SNOW)
• Experience with Splunk, and/or Tenable to evaluate systems for Information Assurance/security vulnerabilities
