Description
Job Description: As a Missile Warning and Nuclear Detonation Detection System subject matter expert, provides expert support on Missile Warning issues including infrared satellite systems such as the Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS), Defense Support Program, as well as the Nuclear Detonation Detection System and on Missile Warning satellite operations issues. Conducts architectural and systems engineering based assessments and analysis of the space enterprise. Develops recommendations to support Service, OSD, and Congressional budget processes. Facilitates and guides the development and maintenance of architectures across the space enterprise, especially in the Missile Warning and Nuclear Detonation Detection System mission areas.
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience ;
Must have an active DoD Top Secret with SCI access.
