We are seeking an expertly versed Logistics Principal with experience in deployment logistics associated with corporate or military relocation efforts and planning. The contractor will provide support in planning and implementing the seamless move of mission and people for our customer's relocation effort. Additionally, planning must include and define mission dependencies and include contingency strategies.

In this role, you will apply your knowledge and understanding of to help develop guidance, policies, procedures, and programs to deploy successfully workforce and mission from current to new location. You will create, document, and execute a deployment plan to move successfully without mission degradation and assist the deployment team in communicating deployment process to organizations and employees.

Duties include:

• Ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities and space allowances
• Assist in the definition of transportation (moving) requirements to conduct the physical move
• Plan the move of special items, to possibly include:
  • Classified information
  • Resource library
  • Police armory
• Incorporate user defined mission dependencies into deployment planning and analyze movement priorities.
• Determine increment plans along with contingencies plans if current operations alter the plan so that the overall deployment plan remains on schedule
• Plan and implement a method to track and maintain accountability of material
• Conduct continual reassessment and after action planning for each increment in order to improve the overall deployment plan
• Identify deployment issues and communicate solutions, and take action to correct program deficiencies

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or in a related technical or scientific field.
• 10 years of demonstrated experience supporting corporate or Military relocation efforts and planning. In lieu of demonstrated experience, prior commissioned officers or senior enlisted (E-7 and above) with certified awarding of LOGISTICS READINESS OFFICER (LRO) SPECIALTY AFSC 21RX will be acceptable.
• 4 years demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, synchronizing, and executing personnel deployment and resource movement.

Desired

• Master’s degree in Logistics or in a related technical or scientific field.

• Professional Logistician Certification (by the International Society of Logistics)

• Knowledge/experience working in the Intelligence Community (IC).
