Description
SAIC is seeking a Strategic Communications and National Security Analys.
This is a full-time position. The position involves the ability to conceptualize and create strategic level messages and products related to the mission of combating weapons of mass destruction (CWMD) for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Develop stakeholder analysis, communications plans, white papers, point papers, strategies, and briefings, as required. Support senior staff for internal and external events, including writing talking points, position papers, and briefings. Ensure written and visual products are consistent in message, tone, voice, and design. Track and document senior leader engagements with key stakeholders and provide strategic content to support events and meetings. Interact with experienced technical staff, management, and government clients. Additional duties may include tasks to research, organize, analyze, and summarize data; conduct literature searches; develop preliminary findings, conclusions, and recommendations on emerging threats in the CWMD mission space. Provide content management support for the intranet and internet SharePoint and Websites.
Current focus areas include Department of Defense key leader engagement, stakeholder analysis, strategic messaging, and emerging CWMD threat analysis. Work will be conducted on the government site at FT Belvoir, VA. There is opportunity for some telework. Employee may be required to travel domestically and overseas, as directed by the client. Total time spent on travel not expected to exceed 10%.
