SAIC is looking for a Systems Engineer (Cross Domain Solution) to support Navy system, Family of System (FoS) and System of System (SoS) development. Work is to be performed on site in San Diego, CA. This is an ideal position for someone with experience developing and updating Cross Domain Solution (CDS) policies. The candidate will have broad knowledge across aspects of CDS design to include: Data Owner Guides, rule sets, dataflows and filter development.  The preferred candidate will have experience in evolving a system from conception to sustainment in the NAVWAR/PEO C4I environment.

• Provide Subject Matter Expertise for cross domain policy analysis, design, and implementation support to configure and validate CDS access and transfer capabilities integrated within PMW 120 systems
• Provide CDS expertise in the analysis of system Data Owner Guide (DOG) to define cross domain policies
• Subject Matter Expert in the rule set and filter development for CDS
• Document current cross domain dataflows in a consolidated document; review and validate/update dataflows Work with MBSE modelers to develop system models
• Work with engineers to detect and resolve system, component or design issues
• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain networked and standalone computing equipment
• Install and remove software that may require the advanced configuration of network devices and applications

Perform operational support and development for system environments and provide product recommendations for security technologies.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience.  4 additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degrees.

Required Skills:

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance 
• Knowledge of CDS policies, rule sets, filters and data flow development
• 4 years of operational experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• Ability to work with and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, government technical representatives, and other supporting contractors; Excellent written and oral communications
• Ability to work independently or in a team collaborative environment
• Ability to brief senior government personnel

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• Prior Military / NAVWAR experience
• INCOSE CSEP or ASEP certification is a plus
