Description

SAIC is seeking a Principal Program Analyst with a background in government personnel administration on the Horizon Program to support the U. S. Space Force (USSF) in their efforts to develop and deploy next-generation and advanced capability space systems under the Special Programs (SP) Directorate at the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) in El SegundoThe position support SMC’s portfolio of programs designed to gain, maintain and exploit space superiority that includes space launch, global positioning, military space vehicle communications, defense meteorological space vehicles, range systems, space vehicle control networks, space-based infrared systems, and space situational awareness capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide program management support to the customer leadership 
  • Document Government process for various personnel management actions at the Division-level and manage those process to ensure personnel actions are meeting the suspense timelines and due dates
  • Ensure leadership is aware of and consistent in applying applicable standards, instruction and policy with respect to personnel actions, if needed.
  • Assist with Executive Assistant duties when necessary
  • Work with the Government organizations to develop appropriate work flows and communication chains for personnel related matters, if needed. 

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • BS Degree and  10+ years of related experience with acquisition and program management within the DoD community

Required Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to consent to and pass a polygraph

Required Skills:

  • Must be able to interface with all levels of functional/division acquisition offices to accomplish projects for the government program office
