Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Nuclear Weapons Safety Support Analyst to provide Nuclear Weapons Safety support and validate compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) Nuclear Weapon System Safety Rules.

Primary duties include:

  • Provide technical advice during conduct of Safety Studies and Reviews

  • Author and coordinate changes to current or new Nuclear Weapon Safety technical publications

  • Advise on adherence to DoD Nuclear Weapons System Surety Standards and participate in Safety-related meetings, groups, committees, etc.

  • Support office management functions, requirements, and other related duties, as required


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors and six (6) years of related Nuclear Weapons experience; Masters and four (4)

    years of related Nuclear Weapons experience

  • Five (5) years of Nuclear Weapons experience in operational maintenance, to included: Nuclear weapons team member, upload and down load operations, transport operations, general maintenance, and maintaining equipment.


  • Active Top Secret Clearance
