SAIC is looking for a Senior IT Systems Solutions Architect that will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategy for O&M Tier 2/3 break-fix support and Agile Software development for Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. This role will be the lead technical resource and will be responsible for mentoring and guiding other technical resources. 

This position is able to be remote.

Responsibilities include: 
 
· Provides enterprise architecture expertise to translate an enterprise's strategy into a future enterprise architecture and a transition plan (i.e. roadmap) to achieve that future state.  
· Uses multi-disciplinary techniques, for example: business process decomposition and redesign, information engineering, organizational redesign, change management, IT strategy and architecture, and performance measurement, to assist in enterprise business transformation and EA implementation. 
· Interacts at a variety of points within the enterprise's governance process to assist in implementation of the transition plan, to include organizational strategy development, capital planning and investment control, portfolio and project management, systems development, and operations.

· Designs, develops, and maintains current and future views and data describing the enterprise architecture.  
· Researches and advises on the selection of technologies to include within the enterprise architecture.  
· Provides analyses of potential changes to the EA.  Conducts reviews and analyses of architectures to ensure compliance with EA policy.  
· Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures to ensure EA policy compliance or to improve the EA. 
· Coordinates and collaborates with subject matter expert and other architects to reflect re-engineered business processes into the EA. 
· Defines, develops, and provides expertise and guidance on EA processes, policies, roles and responsibilities. 

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

·         Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment
·         Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
·         Experience applying The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) in Agile solution designs to minimize technical debt and improve overall velocity
·         Experience implementing the MVC Development Methodology (Model/View/Controller)
·         Experience designing solutions with a Microservices software architecture
·         Experience with developing and managing data models with CA Erwin
·         Experience creating and updating data dictionaries
·         Experience developing solutions using Message Services, including development of Apache ActiveMQ services
·         Experience with DevOps pipeline tools including configuration management, requirements (e.g., JIRA), automated testing, and deployment
·         Experience developing interfaces compliant with National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) standards
·         Experience developing integrated solutions with federal information and biometric exchanges including Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS), Automated Biometric Identification System (IDENT), National Crime Information Center (NCIC), and National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS)
·         Experience designing and implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using Microsoft Active Directory and Personal Identity Verification (PIV) cards
·         Proficient in network communication protocols, ports, routing, proxy settings, and firewall policies
·         Experience designing solutions compliant with the Federal Inf


Target salary range: $175,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
