Description

SAIC is looking for a senior business process analyst to join our USDA customer in Kansas City, MO. This position can be worked 100% remote nationwide. We are seeking an individual to be part of a software development team that designs, develops and maintains complex web-based applications in support of the U.S Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency. As a senior business analyst you will elicit, analyze and document complex software system requirements in a large scale enterprise.

Primary Job Duties

• Conduct analysis of business processes using techniques such as BPM, use case modeling, current state analysis, gap analysis, benchmarking, best practices identification, etc.
• Interface with all areas of project including customer, architects, development team, operations, and other teams.
• Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulations, and guidelines to assure compliance.
• Conduct client interviews and coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain and document system requirements such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system controls.
• Perform cost benefit analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or relevant discipline (or 4 years of equivalent experience) and  7+ years of experience or Master’s degree and 6+ years’ experience
• Must be able to obtain USDA public trust prior to starting.
• Must be US citizen or green card holder due to clearance requirements.

Target salary range: $85,001 - $95,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
