Description
SAIC is seeking a Training Specialist to support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC DEVCOM), Command Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center.
Science Application International Corporation (SAIC) in support of the Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) Technology Enabled Analytics (TEA) contract and Task Order is seeking multiple qualified and cleared candidates in support of the CCDC DEVCOM C5ISR Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate. The TEA team has in-depth experience in providing expertise to support research, development, assessment, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstration, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of the designated information and/or intelligence software systems.
These positions are contingent upon award which is expected in May 2022 with a start date in June. These dates are submit to change based on the actual award date.
This is a full time hybrid position. Will work most days virtually, but must be able to travel to Aberdeen, MD (sometimes on short notice) for meetings, etc. when required by customer. Prefer candidate live in the Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia metro area, Delaware, Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
Develops, directs, plans and evaluates training programs or activities to meet external customer or internal employee learning objectives. Assignments may include needs analysis, custom course development, development of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of course objectives, and evaluation and learning assessments. Where instructing within a certified educational institution, responsible for determining the organization, communication and delivery of the course content and materials, and for developing learning activities and demonstrations. Collaborates with customer or internal functional organization to develop, enhance, and/or evaluate new or existing learning objectives and course content. May create course content, training materials, visual aids and documentation to support a variety of instructional formats such as lecture, lab exercises, field training, computer-based training (CBT), and/or web-based training (WBT). May develop exam materials and may be responsible for testing and qualitative evaluation of participant's attainment of learning objectives. Monitors and evaluates training programs, assesses results, and implements enhancements as needed. Trainers may also administer training programs to meet student needs, which may require post-training follow up to determine applicability of course material or training approaches. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with minimum 7 years of experience in:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Any Bachelor degree with relevancy to the works to be performed and nine (9) years of training experience in military systems. Twenty (20) years of experience with relevancy to the works to be performed may be substituted for the Bachelor degree.
