Description

SAIC is seeking a seasoned Test and Evaluation (T&E) lead with Department of Defense aerospace expertise to provide technical support to the Space Systems Command. The position requires an individual with experience balance and adjust work priorities to continually to meet short-term work suspense and rapidly evolving customer needs. Additionally, the candidate will have experience in technical programs developing test documentation and executing test plans.

Primary duties include:

• Serve as the T&E lead with responsibility and authority for the integration of the separate T&E related functions and the teams executing T&E activities
• Assist managers in the integration and execution of all developmental, technical, operational, and production testing, and in the evaluation of managed items
• Utilize extensive skills and knowledge of policies, regulations, and procedures governing T&E to assist project leaders in planning, directing, coordinating, managing and reviewing all elements of T&E
• Review test data for accuracy and review and coordinate test reports and system evaluations for completeness and accuracy
• Responsible for working with test teams to ensure they are conducting their activities in alignment with test strategies
• Interface regularly with government customers
• Implement policies and procedures and sets operational goals

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree and nine (9) years or more relevant experience; Master’s degree and seven (7) years or more relevant experience; PhD and four (4) years or more relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI
• Minimum one year experience leading a test team
• Demonstrated experience leading the development of T&E strategies and policy
• Minimum 4 years of experience with large-scale test and evaluation/acquisition programs, including working knowledge of and experience developing the following documents
  • Test Concept Briefings
  • System Evaluation Plans
  • Operational Test and Evaluation Plans
  • System Evaluation Reports
  • Operational Test and Evaluation Reports
  • Operational Test Readiness Reviews

Desired Skills and Experience

• Active Top Secret with SCI
• Experience testing in Special Access Programs
