Join Team SAIC and support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC DEVCOM), Command Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center.

Science Application International Corporation (SAIC) in support of the Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) Technology Enabled Analytics (TEA) contract and Task Order is seeking multiple qualified and cleared candidates in support of the CCDC DEVCOM C5ISR Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate.  The TEA team has in-depth experience in providing expertise to support research, development, assessment, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstration, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of the designated information and/or intelligence software systems.

These positions are contingent upon award which is expected in May 2022 with a start date in June.  These dates are submit to change based on the actual award date. 

This is a full time hybrid position.  Will work most days virtually, but must be able to travel to Aberdeen, MD (sometimes on short notice) for meetings, etc. when required by customer.  Prefer candidate live in the Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia metro area, Delaware, Pennsylvania or New Jersey.

Develops and executes test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Develops test plans, test schedule, and approach. Writes test cases and scripts and identifies data for test scenarios. Conducts a walk through on test case/script with Test Managers, Requirement Leads, Project Managers, and Development Leads. Performs and leads tests of software and/or IT systems to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Performs verification activities on work products using defined methods, procedures and criteria with an appropriate verification environment. Documents and communicates test results. Supports analysis of test results and resolution of open issues. Documents and works to resolve all complex problems. Reports progress on problem resolution to management. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Creates daily test metrics and reporting. Occasionally performs other IT systems engineering activities such as requirements, design, installation, operation, sustainment, and support. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY: Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Work is reviewed by management to measure whether objectives have been met.

PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable and consistent with organization objectives.

FREEDOM TO ACT: Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. 

IMPACT: Contributes to completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.

LIASON: Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

Must have at least  in Engineering or Computer Science with minimum 5 years of experience with solid programming and technical skills and familarity in software development methodologies and testing techniques in:

  • Creating and implementing testing methods, utilizing programming languages to create testing scripts, and documenting software testing procedures
  • Translating requirements and acceptance criteria into test cases and automated test scripts using automated tools
  • Performing analysis of failed tests and maintaining and updating tests based on continuous feedback
  • Designing, implementing and executing test case based on the requirements
  • Developing and implementing test plans, and requirements for systems of new and existing designs; and building testing tooling, fixtures, scripts, and automation based on provided specifications
  • Building automated unit/functional/system-testing of software components, platforms, applications and applying this technology to system test 

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

  • Must have an active TS clerarance with ability to obtain SCI
  • TS/SCI is preferred 

Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
