The National Intelligence Community Technology Director is a customer and internal facing technology and security solution evangelist that will lead the solution architectures, offering roadmap and product catalog development for our US Federal government customers. You will lead overall technical innovation, differentiation, and strategy to include creation and execution of a technology roadmap, development of technical solutions for priority captures, management of the internal research and development investments and capital investment requests supporting technical performance on major programs and in support of key markets.

The successful candidate has demonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving client issues. They will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills in addition to strong interpersonal skills, a customer-centric attitude, and ability to deal with cultural diversity. A leadership capacity to provide advice and guidance in a timely fashion to operationalize strategic plans, manage complex bids, and coach staff simultaneously and leadership capabilities to facilitate inter/intra company teamwork to achieve business goals while promoting a culture of common purpose. Must possess the ability to work as a self-starter, take initiative, and execute tasks with minimal supervision. This position will require up to 40% travel, primarily in the WMA, to meet with clients and teaming partners.

You'll have the following responsibilities:

• Bring deep domain expertise in technical strategy, digital platforms solutions, data management, software development, AI/ML, and technical operations to actively participate in the definition and implementation of the long-term technology solution strategy aligned to our strategic plans.
• In support of sales and business development plans, meet with current and potential customers technical leadership to evangelize SAIC capabilities and solutions
• Closely partnering with the NIC SVP, VPs, business development, solutions architects and innovation factory teams to ensure the business unit’s technology strategy is aligned with the organization's strategic plan and is reflected in the strategic plans
• Consult with business unit leadership on potential solutions to problems
• Active participant in the Growth and Capture Process to include writing and reviewing proposal material
• Partner with vendors, academia, and research institutions to develop differentiated solutions and represent SAIC at key forums and speaking engagements
• Responsible for the identification, development and mentoring of mid to senior level technical staff

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
• A degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology
• At least 15 years of experience in strategy and technology services industry with significant experience in the federal information technology market
• Ability to develop, manage, and implement a technology roadmap and portfolio
• Proven experience architecting large systems within the cyber, digital modernization, and information communications technology domains
• Ability to mentor, lead, and promote technical talent
• Experience collaborating with program managers, project managers, and clients to improve the delivery of services
• Experience in training and mentorship of technologists in the performance of their duties
• Experience leading technical teams to include solution architects and solution developers
• Experience with system development and security lifecycle
• Understanding and experience with NIST Risk Management Framework and other relevant frameworks and models in the industry
• Ability to influence and persuade others, as well as handle difficult negotiations requiring a well-developed sense of strategy
• Expert knowledge with government acquisition processes to include contract procedures, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFI), etc.
• Significant experience supporting capture activities to include participating in Gate Reviews, writing specific sections of proposals, providing preliminary technical guidance for solutions, and task cost estimation
• Certifications such as the below or ability to achieve is desired:
  • AWS Solutions Architect
  • Cloud Security Certification
  • OpenStack Administrator Certification
  • Or other cloud-related certifications
