Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: Join SAIC on a contract impacting national security as a Computer Network Defense Analyst. These positions are located in Fort Meade, MD All positions require an active/current TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.
Responsibilities/Duties
The Computer Network Defense Analyst uses information collected from a variety of computer network defense resources (including but not limited to, intrusion, detection, system alerts, firewall and network traffic logs, and host system logs) to identify, analyze, and report events that might occur within their environment.

- Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as required.
- At least 12 years of experience after obtaining a high school diploma/ GED. Higher education degrees, approved military training, technical certifications, and certain language skills may account for up to half of the years of experience requirement
- Prior demonstrated experience in the use of software applications and databases associated with computer network defense, computer network analysis and target development
- Ability to perform direct defensive actions in response to a computer network intrusion
- Ability to maintain situational awareness of current computer network defense conditions
- Prior demonstrated experience of determining target significance of intercept-related metadata and content
- Ability to identify and analyze anomalous computer network activity
- Ability to identify vulnerabilities to attack communications networks and systems and developing countermeasures
- Familiar with specifications, uses, and types of security hardware and software options
- Familiar with the concepts and principles of computer security and vulnerability analysis
