SAIC is currently looking to hire a Systems Engineer for the JBCP/MMC project located in Huntsville, AL!
Responsibilities Include:
- Performs Systems Engineering activities related to MMC Software Development including: concept of operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system & op. performance analysis, Lifecycle cost analysis & estimation, decision analysis and physical configuration analysis (PCA).
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and 5 years related experience; 4 years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree
Clearance: Must have an Interim Secret Clearance to start; US Citizenship required
Required Skills:
- Familiar with requirement generation for both hardware and software systems
- Familiar with DOORS or other requirement tracking tools
- Proficient with MS Office
- Prior experience working within the DoD field is a plus
Desired Skills:
- Familiar with Model- Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices
