Description

SAIC is seeking a Wargame Analyst Administrator to join our team at the USINDOPACOM K. Mark Takai Pacific Warfighting Center on Oahu, Hawaii. The successful candidate provides subject matter expertise (SME) and operational support in wargaming, wargaming analysis, joint simulations, scenarios, and issue identification/coordination/resolution. 

Job Description:

  • Support the planning, execution, and post-game analysis of wargames through the following representative activities:
    • Develop research questions that support assessment of the wargame objectives
    • Provide input to game design to ensure opportunities to collect relevant data
    • Lead game analysis planning process
    • Identify data streams to be collected during game
    • Create survey questions
    • Identify data collection process of game products
    • Write Data Collection Analysis Plan
    • Train analysis team members (in-cell data collectors, postgame data analysts)
    • Lead game analysis process, to include production of game report and briefing
    • Supports administrative and logistics activities associated with conducting wargames and maintaining wargaming data repositories, websites, instructions, etc. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors degree and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and zero (0) years related experience;  four (4) years of equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Analytical Event (Wargaming, Tabletop Exercises, and Experimentation) planning, coordination, design and analysis experience.
  • Experience in organizing and executing large, complex events.
  • Ability to quickly adapt plans as circumstances require.
  • Experience authoring reports, policy, or proposals.
  • Strong customer relations expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills sufficient to comfortably and effectively present at a senior leadership (business and military) level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. 

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Familiarization with current USINDOPACOM AOR challenges.
  • Experience with research or workforce analysis.
