SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented UI/UX Designer.
Note; this position is 100% telework.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders to define requirements
- Possess proficiency in designing highly reusable components, as part of an enterprise-wide system
- Experience in designing high-qualiUI ty experiences and use flows across app and web
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Assist the development team in implementing design specifications, providing technical advice and guidance when custom solutions are necessary
- Present design work to stakeholders and team in both technical terms as well as common language for non-technical users
- Communicate complex concepts
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of UX/UI design experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Required Skills:
- User Centered Design and User Focused Testing
- Good and/or advanced knowledge of Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or similar design product
- Ability to provide hi-fidelity mockups for the development team to bring interfaces to life in a detail-oriented fashion
- General understanding of frameworks like HTML, CSS, and React is desired
- Be able to manage versioning and publishing of UI components library and style guide
- Ability to work within an agile work schedule
- Good interpersonal skills as position requires interaction with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to think systematically, self-motivated, and a problem solver
- Self-learner with an interest in innovation and learning new technologies and design skills
- Strong work ethic, reliable and adaptable
Required Clearance:
Must have an active Secret with the ability to obtain TS; US Citizenship required.
Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
