We have many years of providing great service to the MDA, JIAMDO, OSD, COCOM, STRATCOM, and DARPA. An integral team that is defining and testing the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). SAIC seeks a Modeling and Simulation Analyst/Engineer to develop and analyze scenarios that tie in all domains of warfare under a Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) for key mission areas. This job is a Full Time hybrid role and will work 4 days at the office in Arlington, VA with 1 day remote / virtual.

  • Conceptualize engineering models of radars and radar-like systems. Characterize those engineering models through descriptive, parametric, and simulation terminology.
  • Performance analysis, technology recommendations, advanced sensor concepts, emerging architecture evaluation, and systems engineering.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in RF/Radar sensors, EOIR systems, missiles/interceptors, threats, discrimination, detection/tracking or Command and Control (C3I, C4I).
  • Must have a working knowledge of the weapons, platforms, and non-radar electronic systems that are associated with systems in the missile defense community.
  • Professional experience with analytic methods and tools in applied mathematics, data modeling, or probability and statistics.
  • Ability to use a high level programming language to enhance analysis capabilities. A programming background with MATLAB, Mathematica or Fortran is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile development and Atlassian products.
  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or other relevant technical field. Advanced degree or continuing education; math, engineering, or physics  background very desirable.
