We are seeking a Senior Hardware Systems Engineer to support our customer in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with broad impact to the customer’s mission. The role requires a strong problem solver, who can identify/anticipate requirements and provide creative solutions to the team. The successful candidate will be an energetic strategic professional who can support fast-moving and wide-ranging projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform hands-on functional testing of components and/or systems that exhibit multiple functionalities
- Handle product sell-off and also coordination and execution of post sell-off and field testing
- Resolve technical issues between the Sponsor and Hardware Developers
- Maintain responsibility for all front-end engineering to include generating requirements and system level documentation
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI with Poly
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 14 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic understanding of Link Budget
- Experience with:
- Satellite Communications
- Fourier Transforms and Signal Processing
- RF Modulation, Antenna design, and radiation pattern testing
- Previous experience with the Intelligence Community
Desired:
- Familiarity with Linux OS, Bluetooth, Matlab, and Spectrum Analyzers
- Previous experience working with National Laboratories
- Working knowledge of digital communications and related IT communications technologies
