SAIC is looking for a Senior Editor to support the final review, approval, and final dissemination of various types and sizes of counterintelligence (CI) assessment analytic products ranging from one page RFI responses to 30-page deep analysis papers, created by a department of all-source, open-source, and technical analysts. The right candidate will have exceptional editing skills as well as a background and ability in research and analysis. It is imperative this candidate has a keen eye for the “So, What” in analysis, ensuring products delivered convey the relevant insights consumers need. The Senior Editor will review all products with a critical-eye, and has a deep understanding of the customer’s identity and technical threats missions. Additionally, the right candidate has the appropriate soft skills to convey editorial and analytical questions constructively and professionally with the team, as well as with customer leadership and stakeholders. It is preferred the right candidate has demonstrated experience supporting the DA.
Must have an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph
Requires Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of combined IC experience in editing, analysis, and writing
Must have 8 years of experience specifically in editing finished intelligence assessments for the IC
Must have 8 years of experience conducting all-source analysis to produce finished intelligence
Must have experience working with the DA Style Guide and able to ensure conformity to it in written intelligence products
Must have experience with numerous analytic tools and databases used across the IC
Must have experience with customer’s identity and technical threats missions.
Must have experience supporting mission center across multiple IC agencies
Must have experience in cover and counterintelligence (CI) issues
Must have experience in multitasking and working under tight deadlines
Must have experience working both independently as the final arbiter and releaser of disseminated intelligence assessments/products
Experience/work in the DA preferred
Experience/work as finished intelligence editing staff, or equivalent.
