Description
SAIC is currently seeking a Senior Test Engineer for the Medical Hands-free Unified Broadcast system, better known as MEDHUB in Huntsville, AL supporting the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity's Warfighter Health, Performance, and Evacuation Project Management Office.
MEDHUB's suite of technology autonomously collects, stores and transmits non-personally identifiable patient information from a device, such as a hand-held tablet, to the receiving field hospital via existing long-range Department of Defense communication systems.
Duties and responsibility:
- Designing, developing, and implementing test procedures for new prototype products that do no not have formal requirements
- Writing detailed test incident reports
- Tracking system defects to resolution and run regression testing
- Writing Test Description, Software and System Test Plans and Reports
- Plans and arranges schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices
- Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements
- Supports both lab and travel to Customer Test Events
Qualifications
Required Education:
- BS degree and nine (9) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Required Clearance:
- Must have an active Secret Security Clearance.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of TCP/IP most specifically Multicast and be able to use tools like Wireshark.
- Experience with basic Android, Linux and Windows System Admin skills like reloading systems, capturing images, mounting drives, configuring network interfaces, and install software packages.
- Familiar with basic VMware ESXI administration skills to be able to load VMs.
- Experience with manual, automated, intuitive test experience.
- Familiar with MIL-STD-498 Software Documentation.
Desired Skills:
- ASTQB or ISTQB Certified Tester at the Foundation Labels
- Basic know of Software, Hardware and Network Integration, with Tactical Systems and Radio knowledge.
- Aviation Flight Test Engineer Experience.
- Basic Cloud Integration Experience.
- Military Operations experience, Military Medical Operations.
- BFT Systems Test.
- Military TOC, COC, CSH, or MTF experience.
- DoD OT, DT, FQT, SAT, SIVT, FVT, SoST testing experience.
