Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Senior Program Analyst support the Army National Guard (ARNG) Regionally Aligned Readiness and Modernization Model (ReARMM) and the broader military intelligence community.

Note: This role requires physical presence on site at the Army National Guard (ARNG) Temple Army Readiness Center (TARC) facility at 111 South George Mason Drive, Arlington, VA.  Temporary telework is an option due to the current COVID environment.

Job Duties:

  • Responsibilities include developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising and managing the policy, planning, programming, and budgeting to develop ARNG capabilities in support of ReARMM.
  • Routinely review and analyze ReARMM requirements, developing and maintaining a database or other routines to extract information in a consumable format.  
  • Applies analytical techniques and methodologies as a basis for the problems involved, formulating the overall concepts, and collecting and processing data for evaluating findings. 
  • Generate documents and present methodologies, analysis, findings, and recommendations to senior ARNG decision-makers.  
  • Provide expert analytical capabilities support to solve complex problems in planning, programming, designing, implementing, and testing concepts, strategies, or systems. 
  • Develops ARNG ReARMM requirements to support ARNG training strategies and training execution for the 54 states and territories.
  • Travel: up to 10%


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years or more of related experience; OR Masters and six (6) years or more experience. 
  • Active Secret clearance, eligible for Top Secret clearance. 
  • 4+ years’ experience with the Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) process.
  • 2+ years’ experience with the Army Sustainable Readiness Model (SRM).
  • 6+ years’ experience developing and overseeing budgets for organizational units.
  • 6 years’ experience with tools for creating visual content and graphics.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.  
  • Advise and assist customer on messaging and communication strategy.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
