SAIC is hiring within our Engineering Innovation Factory Team! Join a team of solution architects and digital engineers that define and build the Digital Engineering Ecosystem, a packaged digital thread solution that fuels the Digital Engineering Transformation across our entire industry. Our work creating digital ecosystems span an exciting variety of programs, customers and corporate initiatives requiring Digital Engineering and Model Based Enterprise applications and infrastructure deployed in Defense, Federal Civilian, and/or National Security environments. 

As part of our Engineering Innovation Factory Team, you will be responsible for prototyping, architecting, and deploying new Digital Engineering solutions for our internal and external customers to include both cloud-based and on-prem solutions across multiple security domains.

Minimum requirements will vary based on role, level, education, and experience. All positions will require US Citizenship, some will require a secret clearance or higher:

Positions will be available in the following skill areas:

    • Embedded Systems Development
    • Digital Engineering
    • Model Based Systems Engineering
    • Digital Thread
    • PLM

Desired Experience with some or all of the following:

  • Experience with the application of systems engineering, model based engineering, digital engineering methods and creative thought-leadership 
  • Experience using modern MBSE tools (Cameo/NoMagic, DOORS, Rhapsody, SPARX, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing requirements and system designs and using modern Systems Engineering toolchains (DOORS, Confluence, JIRA, etc.)
  • Experience with PLM systems/ software (ANSYS, TeamCenter, 3D Experience, WindChill etc.)
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary analysis and optimization tools and digital engineering lifecycle management tools
  • Extensive systems engineering experience in system architecture and design, systems documentation, system requirements, system architecture, CONOPS, and systems verification
  • Experience with DOORS and requirements/architecture linking
  • Experience with MATLAB, AFSIM, 3DX, MQL, Pointwise/Cadence, etc.
  • Experience with physics-based model or simulation development
  • Experience with Multidisciplinary Design Analysis Optimization (MDAO)
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Experience with version control using e.g. Teamwork Cloud, SVN, GitHub
