Description
SAIC is Seeking an RF Electrical Engineer to support US Air Force guided weapons RF seeker research, modeling, analysis, simulation and hardware-in-the-loop. Working on a small team of scientists and engineers, you will collaborate with government engineers developing, modeling, and laboratory testing advanced concepts. This work will be at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
Job responsibilities

Work with other team members develop RF seeker GUI software to initialize, operate, and collect data

Support and operate the Compact Radar Target Simulator (CaRTS) system

Develop RF modeling scenarios that include the appropriate sensor parameters for imaging the developed targets and scenes of interest

Assist the RF Team to fabricate and install hardware and software for the RF simulator for operation and verification of calibration as required
Qualifications
- Programming experience in MATLAB or Python
- Hardware and software interface and development
- Radar system analysis and simulation experience (2+ years)
- Bachelor’s degree required
