SAIC has an opening for a motivated, career, and customer oriented on-site Senior Program Manager in Pearl City, HI with a focus on growth and protect.  The PM will support our current Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) customers, and employees and be the conduit back and principal interface back to the mainland.  The successful candidate will be involved in the day to day activities as well as supporting the team in future growth by formulating and execute strategic capture initiatives. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Represent SAIC at various program and executive level discussion with “On-Island” DoD stakeholders
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation to achieve cost savings and program efficiencies
  • Ability to assess organizational growth objectives and align them to defined opportunity targets to ensure a robust pipeline within the MDA portfolio area; manages assigned portfolio pipeline as the opportunity owner
  • Strong customer engagement skills and ability to communicate SAIC solutions and capability offerings to potential customers
  • Gathers, assesses, and validates customer requirements 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCTION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • BS Degree and 18 years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong strategic thinking and decision making skills, to maximize probability of win and define competitive positioning, win strategy, themes and discriminators.
  • Strong knowledge of industry participants providing the customer with solutions and high end services support
  • Leadership ability to back decisions with research and the “why,” and articulate several options, the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation 
  • Proven ability to evaluate teammates and partners
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with all levels of company and customer management
  • Strong analytic, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to gain internal support and to operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to establish working relationships with customers, other companies, technical staff, managers and peers
  • Ability to engage customer organizations as required to address personnel performance, program related activities, requirements, concerns and other support issues. All such customer interaction shall be communicated to leadership. 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams with responsibilities for project schedule and performance.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  •    Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
