SAIC’s National Security Group (NSG) is seeking a Program Acquisition Lead to fill a critical position on the LANDMARK AOS program. The position will be located in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

LANDMARK AOS is a large SETA contract, supporting the customer’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle. 

 You will provide SETA support for the acquisition of space and ground systems (hardware and software), cooperatively with government, FFRDC, and other SETA contractors. In this role you will actively support specific system acquisition processes and procedures for the Intelligence Community (IC). You will be matched to either SIGINT, GEOINT or Data Platforms projects based on experience.

 Key functions include:

  • Advise Senior and Mid-Level managers on acquisition decisions to include investment strategies, portfolio priorities, and risk assessment of project execution 
  • Generate and coordinate acquisition documents, including but not limited to: Acquisition strategies, Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Technical Abstract, Statements of Objectives, Statements of Work (SOW), Justifications & Approvals, Acquisition Strategy Council (ASC) briefs, Requests for Proposals (RFP), Technical Evaluation Criteria, CDRLs
  • Provide technical and cost assessment of developer proposals, technical reports, design artifacts, and program plans
  • Conduct and support source selections to include: Proposal evaluation, Competitive range determinations, Conduct discussions, Draft source selection decision memorandums
  • Draft technical evaluations
  • Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design / milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements
  • Interact and coordinate daily with numerous stakeholders (Program Managers, Contracting Officers, and external organizations)

You will work side-by-side with the other LANDMARK AOS staff comprised of world class System Engineers, Acquisition Engineers and Domain Experts to lead the customer in acquiring modern processing applications.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • At least 9 years’ experience in engineering and/or acquisition of Intelligence Community (IC) and/or DoD systems
  • Knowledge of IC and/or DoD acquisition roles, processes, and/or program management
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment with excellent communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced STEM degree
  • Experience working within or closely with NRO Acquisition Offices
  • 9+ years in support of space systems and capabilities development
  • Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Level II or III PM certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Program Management Institute (PMI)
