Description

SAIC is seeking an IT Systems Integration Manager in San Diego, CA with an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance to support a DARPA-led initiative. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills and a breadth of knowledge in several IT disciplines including systems and enterprise architecture, software and hardware engineering, interface protocols, and general problem solving skills.

 

Distributed Experimentation Environment (DE2) and Vanguard Force DevOps Environment (VFDE)  are designed to leverage Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) experimentation in developing advanced warfighter architectures and CONOPS and link sensors and weapons platforms in times of critical conflict around the globe.

 

Daily activities may include:

• Providing technical support to improve Multi-Domain Command and Control (MDC2) capabilities through the development and continuous improvement of the Distributed Experimentation Environment (DE2) and Vanguard Force DevOps Environment (VFDE).
• Improving DE2/VFDE processing, cybersecurity, hardware and software, exploitation, and Battlespace Management and C2 (BMC2) capabilities across all warfare domains.
• Define discrete systems with processes to link together complex systems and components with software applications to perform as a coordinated whole.
• May include analysis of transition planning, intelligence information requirements, and may develop architecture baselines.
• Assists with and leads development of integration and migration plans/schedules.
• Acts as an advocate for internal and external clients as the ultimate authority on the architecture design to address client problems.
• Supports systems analysis for missions, systems, and fiscal requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.
• Experience in developing technical solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of adaptability, ingenuity and creativity.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Solid understanding of data and telecommunication technologies and networking fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of database management, data access, and data analytics technologies.
• Working knowledge of security technologies.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and co-workers. 
• Proven ability to work independently providing technical leadership and coordinate tasking of team members. 

REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Active TS/SCI

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

• Expertise and experience in technical programs, technical program management, agile software development, and experience with software development in a DevOps environment.
• Background working in DevOps software development environments with specific experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • Agile software development
  • Software Program Management / Acquisition 
  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Jira
  • Docker
  • Container
  • Kubernetes
  • Cloud platforms 
• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
