Job Description


SAIC has an immediate need for a Master Scheduler in Austin, TX to support the modernization of the US Army. The customer organization we support provides the enterprise architecting, analysis, and systems engineering solutions that will determine the future integrated systems.  The Scheduler will pull together the schedules from systems across Army Futures Command’s (AFC’s) Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs), and develop and maintain AFC’s enterprise level Integrated Master Schedule. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the Master Project file for AFC
  • Working with the individual CFTs to collect and maintain individual CFT schedules
  • Integrating individual CFT schedules into the AFC Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Working across multiple Offices and Organizations to identify and define needs
  • Preparing briefings for senior decision makers


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and fifteen (15) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree

Required Clearance:

  • Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

Required Skills:

  • Experience with MS Project
  • Experience with MS Office (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel)
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Milestones Professional
  • Experience with Primavera
  • Advanced degree in STEM (science, technical, engineering, math) or related discipline
  • Working knowledge of the Request for Change (RFC) process and the Engineering Review Board process
  • Prior experience in support of the US Army
