Opportunity:

Exciting opportunity to join a high-performance team that is spearheading our customers (VA) migration to the cloud.  Tremendous growth opportunity working within cloud ecosystem and using cutting-edge technologies.  Looking for an engineer who can work at scale and with autonomy, who can be a trusted advisor to our client. This role offers growth opportunity as well as the ability to be a senior level role.  This is a 100% Remote role. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Migrating on-premise products to the cloud including Microsoft Azure Government (MAG) and AWS (GovCloud).
  2. Ensuring all compute is managed as code (IAC)
  3. Adhering to best practices around cost, security, and architecture.
  4. Work in an agile environment (Scrum / Kanban)
  5. Developing core set of tools and modules that will be consumed by teams.
  6. Cross-collaboration with Site Reliability Engineers, Developers, and Product teams.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  1. Cloud - Expert level knowledge of the Azure and/or AWS ecosystems, at scale.
  2. Automation (IAC) - Skilled in the use of automation tools for provisioning and configuration management (ie. Ansible, Terraform, etc).
  3. CI / CD - Creation of pipelines for managing delivery of software.
  4. Administration - experience managing Linux / Windows environments.
  5. Scripting - Experience with Powershell, Python, BASH, etc.

 

Nice to Have:

  1. Containerization – experience with docker, Kubernetes, Openshift.

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelors' degree or higher in Computer Science, or other related discipline
· 2 years' experience in systems/security engineering
· 2 years' additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
