Description
SAIC’s Innovation Factory Teams has an opening for Sales Engineers to enhance and drive sales of SAIC’s differentiated offerings in Digital, Artificial Intelligence, and Engineering.
The role of a technical sales executive is to help promote and sell Engineering Innovation Factory (EIF) offerings by demonstrating the advanced technical functions of each offering and its uses and benefits to SAICs internal capture teams and programs
Engineering Sales is focused on providing technical advice and support to internal capture and program teams by conducting technical analysis of customer needs and requirements to determine tailored EIF offering approach and pricing including: Preparing and conducting technical sales briefings for customer and company representatives. Researching customer technical specifications and cost estimation, resources, time, and technical requirements of modifying, configuring, and installing the EIF solution. Evaluating sales proposals to ensure they are technically accurate and consistent with the organization's quality standards. In addition:

Qualifications
Required Educations/Skills
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience in a technical sales role. Successful candidate has a technical background to acquire a strong understanding of the capability and application of one or more specific offerings. Superior communication skills, with ability to present and demonstrate offerings as part of client engagement pre-sales and sales. Ability to quickly absorb and elicit information on customer needs, interact with customers in real-time and influence their understanding of SAIC offerings. Superior writing skills, to tailor offering-specific marketing content for use in white papers, RFI responses, etc. Applicant must demonstrate high energy, initiative and commitment.
