SAIC is seeking a Senior Interoperability Test/Systems Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA.
We are looking for an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to support the SATCOM Capability Integration office managing a diverse set of strategic and tactical MILSATCOM systems and infrastructure. The candidate will lead test efforts to ensure interoperability of multiple systems, subsystems and MILSATCOM devices in a multidisciplinary environment. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a collaborative work environment of small teams tackling the challenges of integration and transitioning complex communications systems to operations.
Responsibilities:

Act as primary point of contact to SSC/ZACS for all details related to AEHF Interoperability T&E

Develop test plans, procedures, and reports

Execute tests, collect and analyze test data, and present test results

Facilitate test meetings

Coordinate test resources with external organizations
Qualifications
-
BS degree in one of the following technical disciplines: engineering, physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, network and telecommunications; information systems, information technology, or computer information systems with 14+ years of related experience

Active Top-Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position

5+ years of work experience in SATCOM communications, which may include development, test, operations, and/or maintenance

5+ years of work experience in Systems Engineering or Test Engineering, including development and documentation of Systems and Test engineering documents, such as test plans, procedures, and reports; requirements definition, requirements verification, and requirements traceability

Understanding of the discipline and practice of Systems Engineering throughout the system lifecycle phases of concept, development, production, use, support, and retirement

Demonstrated ability to develop test plans, procedures, and reports
Preferred Skills:

MS degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, network and telecommunications; information systems, information technology, or computer information systems
