SAIC is seeking a Sr. Contracts Principal to administer and manage proposals/contracts primarily supporting Civilian agencies of the US Government. The position requires in-depth knowledge of federal acquisition procedures and regulations to include preparation, review, negotiation, acceptance, and administration/management of federal contracts to support proper contract acquisition, administration and delivery in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing contractual documentation in order to ensure adherence to company policy, customer specifications/requirements/reporting, conformance to master agreements, and coordinating back-to-back subcontract agreements. Advise management of contractual risks, rights and obligations, and provide interpretation of terms and conditions. Serves as prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives often requiring coordination between organizations. Participates in development of solutions to unique challenges, which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation. Additional duties include proposal preparation; negotiation and administration of various contract types such as cost reimbursable, time and materials, firm fixed price and task orders; review and negotiate non-disclosure (NDA), teaming agreements (TA), proprietary information agreements, and the like; collection and submission of data for regulatory reporting. 
Must be a critical-thinking, team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple deadlines and varied projects in a fast paced, rewarding environment with limited supervision. 
This position is 100% telework from within the US (CONUS). 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
 - Bachelor’s Degree
 - Professional Certification (CPCM/CFCM) a plus
Required Qualifications: 
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of related experience in federal government contracting and administration.
