Position Description:

SAIC Corporate Group has an immediate opening for Corporate Financial Analyst to join our Corp. Treasury Team in Reston - VA.

We are seeking a detail oriented, self-starter, with strong analytical and project management skills. The candidate will work within a small team; but will retain an expanding area of direct responsibilities and increasing autonomy based on their initiative, capabilities and achievements.

The position will be structured to balance both special projects and routine work assignments including cash management and reporting, cash flow forecasting, investment, bank account administration, compliance, earning’s call supports, and others.

The Treasury Analyst is an important member of the Corporate Finance Department. This position will report to the Manager of Corporate Treasury. The individual will have primary Treasury responsibilities including cash management and reporting, cash flow forecasting, bank account administration, bank fee analysis and will also support other areas of the business. This is an ideal opportunity for people at the early stage of their career and is designed to develop a strong foundation in Treasury and Finance. There will be opportunities to interact with senior finance and other functional business leaders through various cross-functional team engagement projects. You will gain valuable experience to accelerate your learning and make a real impact on our business. In addition, there will be opportunities to grow into other roles within the Treasury and Finance team.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establish daily cash position
  • Support short-term and long-term cash forecasting process
  • Contribute inputs to cash management strategy
  • Develop and recommend short-term investment strategies
  • Act as a Treasury liaison in setting up new international banking accounts, services, and handling bank inquiries and related matters
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of bank accounts, balances, bank/Treasury systems and bank cost information
  • Work with banking partners to Identify best in class processes, tools, and treasury strategies
  • Analyze bank fees and negotiate pricing with banks
  • Assist in preparation and implementation of Treasury policies, procedures, and internal and external compliance deliverables
  • Develop various dashboards to visually communicate relevant data to senior management
  • Support M&A deal close and integration activities
  • Support corporate financial reporting, corporate tax, financial planning, internal audit, and other functions as they relate to Treasury transactions and entity structures

 

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 3 or more of related experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office, Excel skills 
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of associates and business partners 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Exceptional organization, self-motivation, and time management skills required with ability to prioritize priorities and effectively manage deadlines
  • Critical thinking, communication skills, attention to detail, and time management are critical to this position
  • Demonstrated experience working within a team to deliver measurable results

Additional Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Treasury Operations processes
  • Technical skills working with databases and system interfaces
  • Experience with ad-hoc reporting

Target salary range: $75,001 - $85,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
