SAIC has an opening for a software developer in our Software Innovation Factory. This job can be worked anywhere within the U.S.

This software developer position is responsible for designing and creating attractive, easy to use, high performing mobile apps, responsive websites, and cloud native applications.

The candidate will work independently as part of a small and innovative Agile development team from their home offices to develop mobile apps and cloud-based applications, primarily for federal government customers. Users of these mobile apps span from the nation's public safety first responders to internal company employees. The mobile apps can range from standalone apps to apps serving as a front-end interface to cloud-based data and services on Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

The candidate should have experience working with the technologies listed below and independently researching, planning, designing, and developing applications using these technologies. They should be comfortable with the challenges of developing and troubleshooting new mobile app features using open source libraries and writing scripts to automate and streamline the development process.

The candidate will work in a modern development environment using Windows and Apple Mac computers, tablets, and smartphones, and open source frameworks. They will manage and maintain configuration control using leading tools such as Atlassian JIRA and Microsoft TFS and interact with team members and customers using Teams, Zoom, Skype, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other collaboration tools.

This is a full-time position. Working hours can be mutually agreed and may accommodate SAIC's 9/80 work schedule when compatible with project schedules.

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance as needed

Desired Education and Experience: B.S. Computer Science and two (2) or more (+) years of experience.

Target salary range: $65,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
